Continental Railworks D-60B mid mount hi-rail unit can be used behind or under the cab of the truck. Designed for Class 8 chassis, the D-60B hi-rail unit offers several beneficial features: fully automatic mechanical locks to eliminate the need for pins in the stowed and deployed position, automatic locks to keep the chassis front axle above the rail, 50-50 flow divider to provide excellent operator safety and ease of use and eliminate the need for pins.
As with all Continental Railworks hi-rail units, drop forged wheels are used as opposed to cast. The full unit adjustability, including alignment, toe-in, toe-out, wheel gauge and pressure adjustment allow the unit to be perfectly tuned to whatever vehicle type, conditions or application.
